About The Hollow
The Hollow was born from an idea over a decade ago that K.J. “Rea”
Bonebrake had. After looking at the labels of the products she used everyday
she realized she could hardly pronounce what was in them. Inspired by
helping to relieve the skin ailments her Step Mother suffered from she started
to experiment on the stove in her kitchen making lotions, soaps, and bath
products derived from simple and wholesome ingredients that would not
irritate those with sensitive skin. From there word spread and demand for her
humble products grew.
Over the years Rea studied the benefits of herbs and their preparations.
Wanting to better serve her customer base she took the step to gain formal
training. In 2009 K.J. “Rea” Bonebrake proudly graduated with honors from
Australasian College of Health Sciences holding a Diploma of Master
Herbalist. Her passion for herbs, alternative medicine, and holistic living is
seen within her work at The Hollow. She now offers consultations and
workshops on Herbal Remedies, Homeopathy, and Holistic Living.
